The picture is a photo montage and gives a general idea of what the new seating in the domestic hall will look like.
The domestic hall at Göteborg Landvetter Airport is getting new seating, and the domestic security checkpoint is getting a facelift to make it more pleasant. A lovely combination of interesting design and practical function will give domestic passengers a boost.
Somewhere to sit, either to eat a bite from Haga Café, Pressbyrån or Sushi Lounge or else to relax, read or check email on your computer – there has been a shortage of seating in the domestic hall, but that is now being put right.
“We will build a platform with ten tables and forty chairs. The new seating area will enhance the atmosphere in the domestic hall, which will include a number of exciting design elements. But we have also thought about function, and each table is equipped with an electrical outlet for anyone who wants to charge their mobile phone or work on their laptop,” says Charlotte Sandberg, from the airport’s Commercial Services Department, which is responsible for furnishings in the terminal.
More pleasant setting for the domestic security checkpoint
Work to improve the atmosphere and the welcoming impression in our terminal is underway in the domestic security checkpoint as well.
“Here too, we are trying to create a calmer, cosier atmosphere with colours, furniture, lighting and textiles. It will be a décor that is recognisable from our new international security checkpoint, except in different tones,” Ms Sandberg notes.
