Luleå Airport, which is owned, managed and developed by Swedavia, formerly LFV, works continuously to reduce impact on the environment. We work in a systematic and structured way with environmental matters and our environmental management system has a central role in our work.
Since 2005 Swedavia has been a climate neutral company.
This means that fossil carbon dioxide emissions produced by our operations will be compensated through financing projects which contribute towards reducing the equivalent emissions.
All services provided by the Airport to the airlines and passengers are climate neutral and we sell and use environmentally certified electricity.
