Malmö Airport’s catchment area covers most of southern Sweden, where 40 per cent of the country’s population lives. More than 1.4 million people live in our Swedish catchment area. The Öresund Bridge together with good public transport have contributed greatly to the expansion of our catchment area in Denmark. A total of 3.6 million people live in our catchment area.  During 2008 we invested in a new cargo terminal as well as a renovation of our check-in hall and commercial space for conferences. During 2009, 1.5 million passengers chose to fly to and from Malmö Airport and the Öresund region. We are working actively with maintenance and new investments.
