What do I do about lost/delayed baggage?
Fill out a loss report form at your airline’s arrival service in the baggage hall or at the Information counter upon arrival at Malmö Airport. When your baggage arrives, they will contact you and arrange a time for delivery to where you are.

Baggage storage lockers?
Locks for storing baggage for up to 14 days are located down the stairs from the check-in hall. Prices: Small locker SEK 15 per day. Large locker SEK 25 per day. Lockers are available in various sizes. You may pay, with coins in Swedish kronor.
Can I borrow a pram (baby carriage) at Malmö Airport?
You can borrow a pram from us as long as you are in the terminal.
Can I take my own pram to the departure gate?
Most airlines at Malmö Airport want you to check in your own pram while you are still in the departure hall. Contact your airline and ask what rules apply to your particular journey.

Where should I keep photographic film during my journey?
X-ray equipment for screening checked baggage may damage both exposed and unexposed film, so always pack film in your hand baggage.
What are the maximum dimensions and other rules for hand baggage?
Your hand baggage may not contain any sharp objects such as knives, scissors or nail files. Place all such items in your check-in baggage. Maximum hand baggage dimensions (standard dimensions − some airlines have other maximum dimensions, so contact your airline for exact rules): Length 45 cm, height 20 cm, width 35 cm.

Security
Due to enhanced security screening at airports, all baggage is x-rayed. Checked-in baggage is subjected to powerful X-rays, which may damage photographic film, so please pack all film in your hand baggage. The security checkpoint has no obligation to store items that you are not allowed to carry on board. Go to the Information counter and send home items that you may not carry on board.
Opening hours
Are duty- and tax-free and other shops open early in the morning?
Yes, the shops located after the security checkpoint open one hour before the first flight departure and close at the time of the final departure from the terminal.
What are the terminal opening hours?
The airport terminal is open 24 hours a day.
Any restaurants, cafes and kiosks that are open at night?
In the terminal there are soft drink and snack vending machines. Cafés and restaurants located past the security checkpoints are open as long as there are departing flights.
How do I get documentary proof of delayed flights for my insurance company?
Such documents are issued by your airline or tour operator.
Is smoking allowed?
All Swedavia airports are smoke-free, and smoking is only allowed in separate smoking rooms. There is currently a smoking room in the terminal after the security checkpoint.
