On 31 January Wizz Air increase its services from Malmö to Poland adding Poznan to its list of destinations. The airline also provides services to Budapest, Warsaw, Gdansk and Katowice from Malmö Airport.
Wizz Air is the largest, low cost carrier in Poland and during 2007, 2.8 million people travelled to and from Poland on Wizz Air flights. The airline has increased capacity and expects to transport about 4 million people to and from Poland during 2008.
Poznan has historically been an important city, locate between Berlin and Warsaw, it is now an interesting tourist destination. The city has many beautiful buildings, a picturesque market and several museums as well as Poland’s oldest Cathedral. Entertainment in this city is lively as the students fill the bars and restaurants.
