  • Small recovery in November

    The total number of passenger at LFV Airports during the month of November was 2.3 million, which is a small increase compared with the same month in 2008. Domestic increased by two percent to 1.1 million while international decreased by one percent to 1.2 million passengers.
  • Fewer passengers mean reduced earnings for LFV

    LFV´s revenue for the first nine months of the year was MSEK 151, which is a drastic deterioration compared with the same period last year which saw revenues of MSEK 516. Passenger numbers dropped by 13%.

    The total number of passengers using LFV airports was 2.5 million during October. This is a decrease of 9% compared with the same month the previous year. International passenger numbers were down 8% to 1.4 million passengers and domestic 9 % to 1.1 million.

    The number of passengers at LFV Airports decreased by 11% during September compared with the same month 2008. International numbers were down 12% and domestic 9%.
  • Lars Håkansson, new CEO of Swedavia AB, will succeed Sture Ericsson

    New CEO of Swedavia AB is Lars Håkansson who will succeed Sture Ericsson on October 1 2009.  Lars Håkansson is currently working as project manager at Swedavia AB, where he is responsible for specifying a new ATM-system in Thailand. Lars has extensive international experience from a large numbers of international consultant projects performed by Swedavia.

  • Reduced earnings for LFV due to drop in travel

    LFV’s result for the first half of 2009 was SEK M 40 which is a massive deterioration compared with the first 6 months of 2008 when the Group’s profit was SEK  M 308. Passenger numbers were down 14%.

     

  • LFV’s traffic statistics August 2009 - Downward trend continues

    The number of passengers at LFV Airports was 10% down in August 2009 compared to August 2008. International numbers were down 11% and domestic 10%.
  • International travel stronger in July than domestic

    [2009-08-05] 

    2.1 million passengers flew from LFV Airports during July 2009. This is a drop of 10% compared with the same month in 2008. International passenger numbers were down 8% to 1.5 million and 613,000 people travelled on domestic services which is 13% fewer.

  • LFV and SAS test wide scale green approaches

    [2009-07-17] 
    Begining on Monday, LFV and SAS will begin testing the successful green approaches concept on a large scale throughout Sweden. The test period will be for one week and the aim is to gain valuable information about this technique which results in major reductions in carbon dioxide emissions.
