2.7 million passengers flew out of Swedavia’s airports in June 2010, which is an increase of five per cent compared to the same month in 2009. International traffic rose by nine per cent to 1.7 million passengers while domestic travel fell by two per cent to 1.0 million passengers.
Overall, for the period January-June 2010, the number of passengers at Swedavia’s airports was basically unchanged compared to the same period in 2009. The number of domestic passengers fell by three per cent while the number of international passengers increased by two per cent.
The number of landings for scheduled and charter flights increased by two per cent in June compared to the same month last year. International landings increased by eight per cent while domestic landings decreased by five per cent. Accumulated for the period January-June 2010, the number of landings was 98,400, which is a decrease of four per cent.
